Remi Rana Allen is a British South Asian artist, educator, and researcher based in London.
With a background in graphic design and fine art printmaking, she holds an MPhil and a practice-based PhD from Chelsea College of Arts. Her work explores equity, decoloniality, and representation, and has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
She is the founder of BL&ME – Brown Leaders & Makers Exist, a research hub advocating for global ethnic majority artists. A committed advocate for equity in education, she initiated the BAME/EDI Research Student Mentoring Scheme at UAL and serves as a trustee at Phoenix Art Space. Remi teaches Fine Art at Chelsea and Camberwell Colleges of Arts, is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Nairobi, and collaborates on transnational projects through the TrAIN Research Centre.
